one of the films that i have looked at is the remake of the film death race, as this film features various cars with guns and armour on them, the story is that an ex racing driver loses his job and then gets assaulted in his home and wakes up next to his dead wife with the police around him, charged with her murder he is sent to a maximum security prison which also holds a competition that brings in the main source of incom to the prison, the competition is that the inmates can enter into a race and if they win 5 times they are set free, the downside is that all the cars have guns on them and the attritiuon rate is fairly high, with the prisons best racer dead the main character is given the chance to earn his freedom and see his little girl again by winning one race, after some coaxing and the discovery that this is all a set up by the warden he accepts.
the vehicles in the film are all real vehicles that can be found today, but they have some modifications on them including machine guns, rocket launchers, napalm and armour, as this is the type of design that i am going for for my vehicles i thought it was a good idea to watch he film i will also collect some images so that i have an idea as to where i could place the guns on my cars as well as what the armour should look like.

the track design they have is quite good as well with a style similar to wipeout as to how they get weapons where they have to drive over a symbol on the floor when it is lit up, they also have hazards on the track that activate in the same way.
i have also looked at tutorials on youtube that show you how to get the cars to control properly and how to create the other scripts that i will need i looked at the tornado twins videos on youtube to help with different aspects of the game.
